A doily is an ornamental mat, used mainly for protection of surfaces, or for flower arrangement. These can come as a single entity, or in sets of three, and add a touch of elegance to the decor of living and dining spaces.

Soak in lukewarm water before washing. Use mild detergents, do not bleach. Hand wash preferably. Iron when slightly moist to open up the lace. Lightly starch if desired.
