Lace knitting is an art, but blocking the lace is what brings out the beauty in it. Lace fabrics are soaked in water after finishing and then stretched to desired shape on a blocking board, pinned in place with the help of blocking wires and pins, and then left to dry. Once dried, the lace retains its shape till washed again. Lace blocking is as important to knitting a lace project as the process of knitting itself.

Lace blocking wires are available in a tube packing. Each tube consists of 6 wires of 1mtr each, 6 wires of 0.5mtrs each, 3 flexible wires of 1mtr each, 1 measuring tape & 20 T-pins). T-pins are separately available in a packing of 50 pins. Lace blocking mats are available in a packing of 9 mats, each mat of size 1’ X 1’.
